PS2 Emulator Android / iOS

Play Station 2 emulator for iOS

Uploaded byBlowFlies

Play! is an attempt at creating a portable PS2 emulator for iOS, Win32, Linux, macOS, and Android OS platforms.

Play! is written in C# and is designed to make use of instruction caching and a dynamic recompiler scheme to try and achieve better performance while emulating the PS2’s complicated CPU.

  • No BIOS required. Play! is an high-level emulator.
  • Easy configuration. No custom settings to fix specific games.
  • Available on many platforms. Making sure the experience is the same everywhere.

These are more titles we officially tested and played before releasing PS2Smart:

  • Silent Hill 2
  • God of War 1 & 2
  • Final Fantasy XII
  • Devil May Cry 3
  • Kingdom Hearts
  • Okami, Ratchet & Clank
  • Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King
  • Suikoden III
  • GTA Vice City & San Andreas
  • Virtua Fighter 4
  • MGS2: Sons of Liberty.

You can download the last app release on the button link below. With this version the beta program test is now closed.

The table lists the minimum system requirements for running PS2 emulator iOS

It is still possible to install the app on devices not mentioned above, but we cannot guarantee its proper functioning.

We recommend backing up the device on which the app will be installed before performing any installation of third-party apps not from the official app Store.

There will be frequent updates which you can grab from the link below.

The last version implements the following new features:

•Compatibility fixes ie.: Beatmania IIDX, Shin Megami Tensei, Silent Hill 2, Crash Twinsanity now boot (not necessarily playable though)

•Add screen shot feature on Windows, macOS and Linux

•Minor performance improvements (for iOS 8.0+ only)

•Improved VU flag handling fixing some rendering and collision detection issues in some games (ex.: Grand Theft Auto 3: San Andreas).

•Fixed greenish movie rendering occurring in some games (ex.: Kingdom Hearts).

•Minor compatibility fixes (ex.: Gran Turismo 3 is now playable).

•Minor stability improvements (for iPhone devices)

This application is from a third-party developer, so an automatic update won’t be available.

You will need to manually update the app by installing the new version from the IPA file; the previous app will be replaced automatically.

All the updates have the latest fixes and optimizations, but their constantly changing nature means that little testing has been done on them and unknown bugs may appear.
